Change, Disappointment & Resilience Ages 9-12
Change, Disappointment & Resilience
Change is a normal part of life, but it does not always feel easy. In this educational wellbeing session, children explore how different people can experience the same situation in different ways and learn why change, disappointment and setbacks are a natural part of growing and learning.
Children discover that while some changes can feel exciting, others may feel frustrating, upsetting or disappointing. Through discussion and practical activities, they learn how thoughts, feelings and behaviours can be affected when things do not go to plan and develop strategies for responding in healthy and positive ways.
