The Mozarabs are Iberian Christians who took on the Arab culture of the occupying Moors living in Cordoba in the period between the 9th and 11th century. They were westerners who adopted aspects of Arabic and Moorish culture. Undulating texture echoes Arabic geometric art in a representation of this confluence of style. Knit in one piece and grafted, this quick, stylish accessory in four sizes resembles a turban, evoking the Spanish adoption of Arab culture of that time.
