[Spoken Introduction] Every morning the sun comes forth like a bridegroom leaving his chamber. God placed that witness in the heavens: The Bridegroom is coming. But Revelation does not say His wife was carried away to become ready. It says: “His wife has made herself ready.” [Verse 1] The sun comes rising from its chamber, Rejoicing like a strong man in the race. Every dawn repeats the promise: The Bridegroom will return to His place. John stood preaching at the Jordan: “Behold the Lamb of God,” he cried. “He must be revealed to Israel”— The Bridegroom presented to His Bride. John heard the Bridegroom’s voice and answered, “This joy of mine is now complete.” The friend had made the introduction; Then he decreased and left them to meet. [Verse 2] Christ alone is the Bridegroom; John, the faithful friend, stood near. The twelve were sons of the bridechamber, Sent through Israel’s towns to prepare. The Ekklesia serves within the kingdom— Heralds, guardians, servants of the King. But the Bride is the national wife, The land and people to whom the promises cling. Each one has an appointed office; Scripture does not make them the same. The friend announces, the servants occupy, And the Bride is called by Israel’s name. [Chorus] The Bridegroom is coming— The midnight cry is going out: “Rise from your sleep and trim your lamps; Behold, the Bridegroom comes!” Carry the oil that endures through the night; Put on the linen, clean and bright. Israel, remember your Husband and home— His wife must make herself ready. [Verse 3] Ten virgins waited for the Bridegroom, Ten lamps burning in the night. All grew weary through the long delay; All slept until the cry. Then all arose and trimmed their lamps, But five had brought no oil beside. The flame they carried could not endure; The door was shut when the Bridegroom arrived. The ten portray the divorced House of Israel, Scattered where her name was lost. Knowing He comes is not enough— Readiness must endure the cost. [Verse 4] When Israel broke the covenant, The Bridegroom’s voice was taken away. Jeremiah heard the sound fall silent— No joy or gladness in the land that day. But Jeremiah thirty-three gave promise: “Again the voice of joy will rise; The voice of the Bridegroom and the Bride Will sound together beneath these skies.” “I will betroth you to Me forever,” In righteousness and faithfulness. Israel will call Him “My Husband” again, Restored in judgment, mercy, and kindness. [Chorus] The Bridegroom is coming— The midnight cry is going out: “Rise from your sleep and trim your lamps; Behold, the Bridegroom comes!” Carry the oil that endures through the night; Put on the linen, clean and bright. Israel, remember your Husband and home— His wife must make herself ready. [Verse 5] The fine linen is righteous action, Not a claim with nothing changed. The wife prepares through covenant obedience; Her land must answer to His name. Let the Bride come out of her chamber; Gather the people, sanctify the land. Come out from Babylon’s confusion; Return to the law at her Husband’s hand. Turn from idols and innocent bloodshed; Let truth rebuild the broken wall. Enter covenant as one nation, With Jesus Christ as King over all. [Verse 6] “Occupy until I come”— The nobleman commanded before He went. One servant gained ten cities; Another gained five from what was lent. They did not wait to leave the kingdom; They carried on the Master’s work. The slothful servant hid his pound, And lost the trust he would not serve. Babylon falls before the marriage; Only then is the announcement heard. Blessed are those called to the supper, Where the covenant is fully restored. [Spoken Bridge] “Let the Bridegroom come out of His chamber, and the Bride out of her room.” “Your land shall be married.” “His wife has made herself ready.” Not carried away. Not waiting to escape. Awake. Assembled. Clothed in righteousness. Occupying until He comes. [Final Chorus] The Bridegroom is coming— His wife is making herself ready. Fine linen, clean and bright: the righteous deeds of the saints. The land shall be married; the Bridegroom’s voice shall return. Israel remembers her Husband and home, And the kingdom belongs to the LORD. [Outro] Every sunrise still declares it. Every faithful lamp must burn. The friend has given the announcement: The Bridegroom will return. His wife has made herself ready. Behold— the Bridegroom comes.
