Run Wild socks

The Run Wild sneaker socks are the perfect socks for those of us who have gotten used to the luxury of hand knit socks and don’t want to wear commercial socks as much anymore. In spring or summer you can’t always wear regular height socks so a pair of shorties can come in very handy. The Run Wild socks were designed with the perfect fit in mind. These top-down socks have a soft flap at the back that cushions and protects your achilles heel. The arch shaping insures that the socks won’t move around in your shoes. Available in 5 sizes these socks are aimed at comfort.

Sizing
Socks are available in size extra small (56 stitches), small (60 stitches), medium (64 stitches), large (68 stitches) and extra large (72 stitches).

Gauge
Gauge is 9 stitches per inch and 12 rows per inch in stockinette with larger needles.

Materials
• 250 meters (273 yards) of fingering weight yarn.
• 2.25 (US 1) double pointed or circular needles.
• 2.5 (US1.5) double pointed or circular needles.
• Tapestry needle.

Sample
Sample was knit in Wollbutt Calgary in color 6072. Sample is size medium and has a 9 inch foot. Sample used 181 meters (198 yards) of yarn.
