Free MTD for Income Tax deadline calendar 2026–28 (UK)
What this is
A single calendar file (.ics) you can import into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook. It adds 13 all-day reminders, each with a pop-up alert 7 days before:
MTD quarterly update deadlines for 2026/27: 7 Aug 2026, 7 Nov 2026, 7 Feb 2027, 7 May 2027
MTD quarterly update deadlines for 2027/28: 7 Aug 2027, 7 Nov 2027, 7 Feb 2028, 7 May 2028
Tax return and payment dates: 31 Jan 2027 (2025/26 return and tax owed), 31 Jan 2028 (2026/27 return), 31 Jan 2029 (2027/28 return), plus 31 Jul 2027 and 31 Jul 2028 for second payments on account (only if payments on account apply to you)
Each event says which period it covers and links to the GOV.UK page it comes from. The dates follow the standard update periods (6 April to 5 July, 5 October, 5 January and 5 April) on GOV.UK.
Note: GOV.UK also lists calendar update periods (1 April to the end of the month). The deadlines are the same, so this calendar still works if you use them.
Note: the 7 August 2026 deadline has already passed. It is included so the 2026/27 year is complete. You can delete it after importing.
