The Backstory:

My family has called me Cory since I was a child, and still do. I mean, Corrado was kinda hard for other kids to get, and back when I was young it wasn’t as common to have such a wild name. The times do change though, thank goodness.

I don’t mind my family using it per se, but definitely prefer the originality in Corrado. I use “originality” loosely since it’s a passed down family name, with a Corrado in every other generation.

And for the other part of the name: who doesn’t love James and the Giant Peach? The movie still holds up as one of the greatest adaptations, I’d say. When I saw that  the lovely colorways Cristy sent me from Yarn Cafe Creations were a soft pinkish peach and a cream with brown speckles... the name popped in my head and stuck!
