Coco Hat

Coco is a slightly slouchy hat knitted in the rounds from bottom to top. Beautiful lace pattern makes the hat very original and feminine at the same time. The pattern includes only written instructions!

SIZES
( S, M, L )
S - small: to fit 50 cm / 20” head circumference.
M – medium: to fit 54 cm / 21.5” head circumference.
L – large: to fit 58 cm / 23.25” head circumference.
Length: 24 cm / 9.5 ”.

YARN
For a hat you’ll need about ( 150, 160, 170 )m / ( 164, 175, 186 )y of any worsted weight yarn.
Sample hat was knit in size L with Malabrigo Rios (100% Wool-Merino; 192m / 210y per 100g), “Glitter” colorway.
Note that the yardage is estimated.

NEEDLES
3.5 mm (US #4) circular needles for magic-loop or dpns, or one size smaller than the gauge needles;
4.0 mm (US #6) circular needles for magic-loop or dpns, or size needed to get the right gauge.

ADDITIONAL MATERIALS
1 stitch marker, tapestry needle for weaving ends.

GAUGE
24 sts and 36 rounds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 “ - in 2x1 rib pattern worked in the round with 3.5 mm (US #4) needles, after wet blocking.
21 sts and 26 rounds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 “ - in lace pattern worked in the round with 4.0 mm (US #6) needles, after wet blocking.
Adjust needle size if necessary to get given gauge.
