This Pocket Monkey pattern allows you to quickly and easily crochet this cute mini jungle safari creature. This pocket-sized stuffed animal sits at 4” in height and can fit in your palm. The ears are crocheted directly onto the head in a no-sew manner, and the color changes allow for details on the face. This project is designed with super bulky chenille velvet or blanket yarn, but it can also be made with thinner yarns to create an even smaller, keychain version. It can also turn into an ape, gorilla, or chimpanzee.

This little toy is great for craft fairs, markets, or kids party favors. It’s a unisex and gender neutral stuffie that will appeal to boys, girls, children, adults, and everyone in between! It’s a great last-minute birthday and holiday gift. The PDF pattern includes full written instructions & photo references to guide you through the process.

Super bulky weight 6 yarn (I used Hobbii Honey Bunny) in the colors beige and brown.

Black thread for sewing the nose

10mm plastic safety eyes (x2)

5mm crochet hook

sl st = slip stitch

sc = single crochet

inc = increase (insert 2 sc in same st)

dec = decrease (sc 2 sts together)

hdc = half double crochet

dc = double crochet
