Residential CAD Solutions

Organize your drawing register, preserve issue history, and prepare clear transmittal reports inside AutoCAD.

Drawing Issue & Transmittal Manager is an AutoLISP + DCL tool for tracking sheet information and documenting drawing issues. Maintain your current register while keeping separate snapshots of the sheets and revisions recorded for earlier issues.

Features

  • Sheet register: Organize sheet numbers, titles, revisions, disciplines, statuses, file references, and remarks.
  • Include/exclude controls: Choose which sheets belong in the next issue.
  • Issue snapshots: Preserve the entered sheet information without rewriting earlier records when the register changes.
  • Transmittal details: Record the recipient, contact reference, purpose, date, delivery-method reference, and prepared-by name.
  • Pre-issue checks: Flag unchecked review status, work-in-progress sheets, blank revisions, and missing file references.
  • Register comparisons: Identify added, removed, or changed sheet metadata compared with a selected issue.
  • Reports: Export TXT transmittals, CSV sheet lists, preflight reports, and a combined issue-history report.
  • Drawing summaries: Insert a static transmittal summary into your drawing.
  • Saved projects: Save and reload the register, project settings, and issue history.

Your Download Includes

  • AutoLISP program (.LSP)

Requirements & Important Details

Developed to target full Windows AutoCAD 2002 and later with Visual LISP support. Data checks have passed; native AutoCAD compatibility testing is still required.

The program records entered information and prepares reports. It does not send emails, deliver files, confirm receipt, inspect drawing contents, or archive referenced DWG/PDF files. Register comparisons check metadata, not drawing geometry.

Save the project file separately to retain your register and issue history. Drawing summaries are static snapshots.

Keep your current register organized and your earlier issue information available for review.
