When my husband of 26 and a half years passed, I was lost. My world was shattered, life as I knew it was gone, I had no idea what to do next, many came to my side to comfort me and sadly as some say; "hurting people hurt people" and though it was wrong, I hurt people who were just trying to help. Though I was hurting, I came to the realization, I had no right to hurt anyone.

Two weeks after the passing of my husband, I was informed of a friend whose husband passed unexpectedly. Knowing what I came to know, I quickly grabbed a piece of paper and began writing, one sheet of paper turned into 9 pages, from there a widows' box. Little did I know that the experiences I went through would one day help other widow or widowers thrust into widowhood.
