Johann Sebastian Bach is one of the most important composers in the history of music.

Although he did not write original works for the mandolin, the universal nature of his musical

language, together with the great pedagogical value of his compositions, inspired me to create

this collection in order to introduce his music to students and young professional

mandolinists.

The importance of these works in the musical education of students, combined with their

significant technical value for instrumental development, makes this volume an essential tool

in the training of every musician.

Johann Sebastian Bach (Eisenach, 31 marzo 1685 – Lipsia, 28 luglio 1750) è una delle

figure più importanti nella storia della musica.

Sebbene non abbia composto opere originali per mandolino, il carattere universale del suo

linguaggio musicale, insieme al grande valore pedagogico delle sue composizioni, mi ha

spinto a realizzare questo volume per far conoscere la sua musica agli studenti e ai giovani

mandolinisti professionisti.

L’importanza di queste opere nella formazione culturale musicale, unita al loro alto valore

tecnico per lo sviluppo strumentale, rende questo libro uno strumento fondamentale nella

formazione di ogni musicista.

Johann Sebastian Bach est l’un des compositeurs les plus importants de l’histoire de la

musique.

Bien qu’il n’ait pas écrit d’œuvres originales pour la mandoline, le caractère universel de son

langage musical, ainsi que la richesse pédagogique de ses compositions, m’ont incité à

élaborer ce recueil afin de faire découvrir sa musique aux élèves et aux jeunes mandolinistes

professionnels.

L’importance de ces œuvres dans la culture musicale des étudiants, alliée à leur grande valeur

technique pour le développement instrumental, fait de cet ouvrage un outil essentiel dans la

formation de tout musicien.

Aunque no escribió obras originales para mandolina, el carácter universal de su lenguaje

musical, junto con el gran valor pedagógico de sus composiciones, me llevó a crear esta

recopilación para dar a conocer su música a estudiantes y jóvenes mandolinistas

profesionales.

La importancia de estas obras en la formación musical de los estudiantes, unida a su elevado

valor técnico para el desarrollo instrumental, convierte este libro en una herramienta esencial

en la educación de todo músico.

Obwohl er keine Originalwerke für Mandoline geschrieben hat, haben mich die universelle

Ausdruckskraft seiner musikalischen Sprache sowie der große pädagogische Wert seiner

Kompositionen dazu bewogen, diese Sammlung zu erstellen, um seine Musik Schülern und

jungen professionellen Mandolinisten näherzubringen.
