Its origins can be traced back to the end of the 10th century and part of the work that has come down to us could be from the 11th century. The general structure of the building is, however, typical of castle-palaces from the 14th or 15th centuries, much disfigured, however, by the restoration works. The gate of the enclosure and a large part of the walls and slopes are preserved. There is also a room with a barrel roof that corresponds to the old stables.
