This wide lace wrap was again inspired by a hank of yarn that brought to mind stratified rocks and small rockpools in between like on the little beach, “the Creek”, below our house at Coolmore in Donegal.
My doodling came up with the lace patterns here which lend themselves to a long draping stole.
This piece is made in two sections and grafted together to create a symetrical wrap where the ripples fall away from the centre.

One main pattern repeat measures approx 7cm by 13cm when blocked.
