Lily stared down at her best friend Kiera with a cruel smirk, watching the woman writhing in agony on the floor. The tiny bullet had done its job perfectly, shrinking Kiera down to the size of an insect with its potent nanotechnology. Now reduced to minuscule proportions, she was utterly helpless as Lily slowly raised her high-heeled boot.

"You never should have stolen my boyfriend, Kiera," Lily hissed, grinding her heel down on the undersized woman, feeling her crush beneath the hard sole with sadistic satisfaction. "I warned you not to cross me. And now you'll pay the price for your betrayal."

Kiera screamed in terror, her tiny voice barely audible over the click of Lily's heels on the hardwood floor as she ground the life out of her former confidante. Crimson stained the wood beneath Kiera's prone form as blood seeped from her crushed body.

Lily had always prided herself on her ability to forgive and move on from past grievances. But when she discovered Kiera had been secretly fucking her man behind her back, all rational thought fled, replaced by an all-consuming rage.

She calmly retrieved her shrink gun, tucking it into a clutch purse adorned with rhinestones. The betrayal still stung. How could Kiera do this to her, after everything they had been through?

Lily took a final twisted sense of revenge, grinding her heel a last time and feeling Kiera's struggles finally go still beneath her designer heel. A perfect punishment for an unforgivable act.

She glanced down at the smear of blood and mangled flesh, feeling only cold satisfaction. Perhaps it was time to find a new best friend. One who knew her place.
