Course Overview
This 20-lesson mental health curriculum for students aged 11-16 is designed to promote awareness, resilience, and practical coping skills. Each lesson is standalone, allowing flexibility in how the material is taught—educators can choose individual lessons or purchase the full course as a complete package. The curriculum covers essential topics, beginning with foundational lessons on mental health awareness, emotions, and emotional intelligence. Students then explore stress management, anxiety, depression, core beliefs, irrational beliefs, and the impact of perception on behaviours. The course continues with relationships, self-worth, self-care, mindfulness, values, and mental health stigma. Later lessons address true crime and mental health, seeking help, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) active listening, and the influence of digital well-being on mental health. Lessons includes discussions, role-playing, and interactive activities to reinforce learning. Those who purchase the full curriculum will receive a bonus lesson at the end, tying together key concepts and guiding students in creating a personal action plan for mental well-being. This course or individual lessons can be used independently or integrated into the existing PSHE curriculum
