Chemical Cost Per Car & Per Job Calculator – Car Wash & Detailing (Excel + Google Sheets)

Know what every car actually costs you in chemicals. Enter each product's jug price, jug size and dilution ratio once. The sheet works out the cost per ounce of concentrate and of mixed solution.

Then build a "recipe" for each service (basic wash, full detail and so on) in mixed ounces per job. You'll see:

• Chemical cost per car or job, with a waste/overspray buffer

• Chemical cost as a % of the price you charge

• Monthly and yearly chemical spend, and cost per working day

• Totals across all your services

Includes room for 25 products, 60 recipe lines and 15 services, plus dropdowns and step-by-step instructions. Yellow cells are for typing; grey cells are formulas.

Works in Excel and Google Sheets (upload to Drive > Open with Google Sheets > Make a copy). The pre-filled numbers are example data only, not recommendations. Replace them with your own receipts and measurements.
