3 Scottish Jigs for the New Year! £5

3 traditional Scottish jigs for the New Year, arranged for lever harp by Karen Marshalsay, which can be played as a set:

New Years Day (Petrie's 2nd Collection), Jig for New Year's Day (Winder mss.), and I Wish You A Merry New Year (Aird Vol. 2).

The first tune has two versions - a simpler one using both hands on the tune along with some supporting chords, and a standard version. The 3 standard versions are printed twice - with and without fingering.

D tuning (with top C natural) lets you play the set without lever changes - the first tune is in G and the other two in D.

Intermediate level (or adventurous advanced beginner!)

The tunes feature repeated notes, octave jumps, jig rhythm and grace notes (cuts and turns).

The left hand has 5ths, octaves, single notes, and rolled chords.
