I do like myself a large shawl........and this large crescent shaped shawl uses 2 skeins of 800m/100g laceweight.
The plain tr crochet body will show off your fancy hand dyed yarn, and the pineapple section will show off your fancy crochet skills. (You don't have to tell everyone that the complicated looking pineapple section is really just basic crochet stitches.)
I have used 1 skein of Truly hooked Lace singles in colourway Champagne supernova and 1 skein
West Yorkshire Spinners Exquisite Lace in Colourway Belgravia.
The pineapple section is fully charted and written.
