For really little ones, you can use the sheet that tracks 50 salawat - 1 sandal/1 salawat. Print out multiple copies and see how many salawat you can recite by the end of Rabi' ul Awwal. You can even assign different colors for each member of the family--make it a collective effort that everyone can partake in! A simple and meaningful way to help children build a habit of sending salawat upon the Prophet ﷺ.

What is the na'layn or sandal? The na‘layn or sandal is the traditional depiction of the blessed sandals of the Prophet ﷺ. For centuries, Muslims have used its image as an expression of love, reverence, and longing for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. As children color each sandal, it becomes a visual reminder of the one upon whom they are sending their salawat.
