Cartwheels on the Prairie PBJ - 104

Cartwheels on the Prairie is a quilt pattern designed for the advanced beginner. Two sizes available: 88" x 104" and 32" x 32". Show off a favorite focal fabric, your beautiful quilting, or both!

While this was the third pattern designed by Jen it ended up being published after Linked. When it was first designed, Jen was still a beginning quilter herself, and the stars were all made using half-square triangles (HST), which made for a LOT of HST. Instead the switch was made to Flying Geese units for most of the stars, to help conserve time and fabric.

Pick up a Wing Clipper® ruler and a Tucker Trimmer 1® ruler to help with the squaring up of your Flying Geese and HST units.
