A heavy snowstorm has swept through northern cities. This is the first snowfall this year.

In Carrie's city, the roofs and ground were covered with thick snow, and the sun came out, shining brightly and beautifully.

She held a walking stand to clear the snow at the door. She had to clear a path before she could go out.
