I supplied quite a few of these powerful little desks new before they were replace by what was an inferior product. The replacement VIBZ Series might be slightly more elegantly styled but these LAX desks are definitely better.

Not least because the mono/mic channels boast a 3 band EQ with a swept mid. Not just a fixed 3 band tone control. Sometimes referred to as a semi-parametric EQ, this facility allows you to 'hone-in' on those critical mid-band/vocal areas and is really considered the minimum form of EQ for all but the most basic of applications.

And it's not just LD Systems that seem to have taken a backward step in this area. The current equivalent Mackie, Yamaha, and Behringer products also seem to feature a basic 3 band EQ. Soundcraft's EFX/MFX range seem to be the only compact analog mixing consoles offering a 'proper EQ'.

Other features include a great sounding digital effects unit, and 4 stereo line inputs for your playback devices, keyboards, computers, etc.

This LAX12D is in excellent, nearly new condition and is fully tested and working with all its fader caps and knobs. It even comes with a transport case. It's not a fitted custom flight case or anything like that, but it's good enough for gig transportation.
