As I spent months working on this story, every time I opened the page, I asked myself that question. Why would I keep doing this to myself? The answer is a combination of the following:

An evil laugh

I like horror.

Can I do this?

And perhaps the worst, YOLO.

This tale, Love In the Winged City came about after I’d rewatched the original Crow film, was thinking of the Stephen King Gunslinger epic and a race of beings called the taheen.
