Nest & Nectar

Nest & Nectar is a multiplayer science game for grades 6–8. Claim squares by explaining how animal behaviors and plant structures increase the odds of reproduction, how animals help plants and how environment and genes affect growth. Get 4 in a row to win.

Skills: Nest building, herding, parental care, mating calls and displays, migration to breeding grounds, competition for mates, laying many eggs, colorful flowers, nectar and scent, seed wings, parachutes, hooks and hard shells, pollinators (bees, butterflies, bats, hummingbirds), seed dispersal by birds and squirrels, environmental vs. genetic growth factors (light, water, food, space, fertilizer, drought, breed, variety), controlled experiments, probability vs. guarantee, reading data tables as evidence.

New problems every game, with Easy, Medium and Hard levels. Every miss shows a short explanation.
