I decided to write these stores as a method to exercise vulnerability, stand up to abusers, silence gossipers, .... and cash in on my life before someone else does.

My parents didn't do that - however a few San Antonio businesses have scored multi-million dollar contracts using me as a minority subcontractor only to drop me once the work is awarded. So ... there's that.

In this story Writer, i.e. Me, is seeing an entirely different side of the city she proudly calls home. On her rise to the top, Writer is met with one opposer - her father. Is he a power-hungry menace to her major plan? Or a concerned parent who wants to see nothing but the best for his beloved daughter? Let’s dive in to Writer’s honest account in this chapter.
