Bloodstone (also called heliotrope) is deep green or deep green and white in color with specks or veining of red. Bloodstone is most often used with the Heart chakra as it is an excellent blood cleanser, aids in circulation and blood pressure, and is also seen as a cardiac healing stone. Some practitioners have used Bloodstone on the liver area to purify and detoxify the body. Bloodstone draws off negative environmental energy, helping to overcome electromagnetic influences.
