Today we sit down with (Vikki M ). We are super excited about learning more about you and your journey. Could you let us & the audience know a little about yourself like where are you from, age, upbringing, values, major proud moments & upcoming major announcements to start. 

VIKKI M : Im 24 born and raised an East Baltimore baby growing up my mother kept me in church and in different activities to keep my mind away from the everyday struggles we used to face which I appreciate her for and am forever grateful for because it made me the creative intuitive person I am today. There’s literally nothing I can’t do. I value family, self love and positive energy by positive energy I just mean that I love to spread love and light. that’s one of my goals every single day. To bring light to somebody else because I know what its like to be in the dark. I’m working on putting out an EP soon but for now I’m just dropping songs left and right and booking shows so if you want your event to be lit BOOK VIKKI M. 

Q1: Thank you so much for that response. Now with us being a Magazine about "KEYZ 2 SUCCESS", what helped you understand that you had the keys to success ? 

VIKKI M :  Growing up I didn’t know I had the keys 2 success. I always thought it was something wrong with me because I went through so much but over time I just realized that bad things dont happen without purpose. Every struggle I ever faced made me who I am and being me is lit. The key 2 success was always in me I just had to look within to see it.

Q2: Now with that being discovered how have you been able to maintain that success as well as navigate being a female in your field ? 

VIKKI M : I just got in the field really with pushing my music and letting everybody know that im here and im coming hard so my plan is just to go full throttle and I know its gonna pay off 

Q3: We all have to start somewhere before any success comes. Often times we go through a tough time to reach that goal. How have you been able to navigate through the rough times & who have helped you doing these rough times ? 

VIKKI M : Navigating through the rough times definitely didn’t come easy especially because for me a lot of my hardest times came when I was too young to understand that everything happens for a reason. I used to always ask why me but now I recognize every trial I face as a stepping stone to something greater and thats how I try to keep my head above water. 

Q4:  What are 3 skill sets, that you believe is best to have in your field ? 

VIKKI M : I believe to really flourish in this field you have to have confidence, drive and endurance. Be confident enough to own any room or stage. Driven enough to keep going when things dont look like you want them to and be ready to endure anything without wavering who you are and conforming to a life or image that isnt you. 

Q5: What advice would you give to those looking to be just like you ? What advice would you give your younger self ?

VIKKI M : For anybody who wants to be just like me I just urge you to get up everyday and TRY. Do something you love, learn something new, perfect your craft and most of all just put yourself out there. I would tell my younger self to love herself more and it gets greater later you just have to go through it to get through it. Life gets better.
