Take a Bough hat knitting pattern
A quick knit for gifting that only looks like you had to use a cable needle.
Instead of traditional 1/1 cables, these are worked as “twists” where you simply work the second stitch on the needle, then the first—super easy, no cable needle necessary, and I’ve linked a video tutorial in the pattern to help you out.
The final twist pattern results in a design reminiscent of tree boughs—we’ll be the only ones who know it didn’t take cabling to do it:)
S(M, L) measure to 20(22 ¾, 25¾)” in circumference, blocked. Depth of hat is approximately 8(10, 10)” from CO to top of crown.
