These ten photographs began with a question I've asked for as long as I can remember:

What's that?

Naming something gives me information. But it doesn't finish the observation.

This small photographic field note follows what happens when I keep looking - at light, relationship, change, contradiction, memory, and ordinary things that could very easily be overlooked.

The first observation is information. It isn't all the information.
