Maddie Dress is an intericate and interesting knit. The lace pattern on the skirt is mirrored in details on sleeves and centre back. The skirt starts on large knitting needles and gradually the size of needles is reduced until you reach the reverse stocking stitch section for the body of the dress. This creates a light skirt with a generous flare. This knitting pattern has a small amount of negative ease across the waist and chest. The pattern PDF comes in both English and Norwegian lanuguage files. The pattern includes complete written instructions, diagrams with measurements and photos.
