The Man-ual is as thorough as they come, bar none.
This is Man Talk at its best. If the world could digest these pages, the divorce rate would be nil. Men and women alike are artfully instructed in ways of successfully managing their relationships. Each point is made with honesty and a telling concern by Mr. Carter. There are frank discussions on topics that benefit men, young and seasoned alike.
I wanted to call this book Relationship for Dummies, but then it got deep.
The writer tackles topics that directly pertain to being a man, but are rarely addressed: Teaching men to do something as simple as selecting a gift is done in a thought-provoking and executable manner. In that same tone, Mr. Carter is a voice of reason on the much-needed talk regarding abuse and fatherhood.
On the subjects of finesse, style, and integrity, Andre Carter teaches in a way that is gripping, honest, and hilarious.
Letters to a Young Brother was just that. This is a Man-ual and it is for men of all ages. Did I say this was a thorough manual? Indeed, complete with a humorous book of hygiene, Questions You Always Wanted to be Answered; I was pleasantly surprised with the alternative, non-medicinal use of cinnamon. There are love games from mypleasure.com, and a recipe book full of easy and delicious restaurant favorites. The book of poems is impressive: “Over and Over” is my favorite.

The Man-ual is the best book I have ever read on love, family & relationships. It really got me thinking about reevaluating how I treat the woman I love. There is so much interesting information. I never laughed so hard at some of the stuff the author had to say about love & the mistakes some men make. I thought wow that's me all day. "The Importance of Picking the Right Woman to Be Your Wife" wow to say the least he dropped some bombs in here. By far that was my favorite chapter. If I could give this book 100 stars I would, unfortunately, I can only give 5. Do yourself a favor guys, get this book.

Every man should get a few copies. One for yourself and one to help your broke lost clueless boys out!! Seriously, this is a great read!! Insightful, informational, and downright necessary!!! Reading this book can change your perspective on relationships forever and help you be a better man than you ever thought you could be!!!

I suggest this book for every grown single, married, or engaged man! The author covers every subject with brilliant insight and suggestions. He explains his reasons behind important decisions and covers subjects from recognizing the wrong ones to giving possible solutions to the relationship you are in. This author included several romantic ideas, recipes, and poems in this book. I believe every man that reads this book will get up with a "Wow!" Personally I wish I had this before I ever got married for my 1st time years ago! Now that I have it, I believe I can be a better husband through its insight.

I think Andre Carter has done a great job capturing the whole relationship experience. The Man-ual is a great book. I found it very entertaining and I even read it aloud to my wife. We both enjoyed it.
