Rain Season Sound Library Thailand
It's monsoon season in Thailand and this rain sound library was recorded from our apartment balcony in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The quieter road below provided the perfect setting to record an almost uninterrupted, authentic storm ambience.
Torrential downpours resonated across concrete, tiles, and metal rooftops, creating a deep, ominous, and cinematic soundscape, almost like something from a sci-fi film.
Alongside stereo recordings, this collection also features DMS (Double Mid Side) recordings recorded with Schoeps CCM4 and CCM8 microphones, allowing you to decode and export in formats such as 5.0 surround.
For best results, we recommend using the free Schoeps DMS Plugin available from Tonsturm. Not available on Plugin Alliance anymore.
