In 2021 PlantNetwork was joined by Graham Bell and Dr Anne Stobart to discuss forest gardens - what they are, how they relate to permaculture and the many benefits of gardening with layers. Graham provided an introduction into the history, philosophy and structure of forest gardens, drawing from his long-established Garden Cottage garden (from start) while Anne described the development of a medicinal forest garden at Holt Wood with examples of the trees and shrubs planted (from 27 minutes).
