Samsung 4K UHD TV series (CU7000, CU8000...) picture settings - SDR (2023)
This product contains one document in PDF format that will help you get a better picture and understand picture controls on Samsung 2023 4K UHD TVs (CU7000, CU7100, CU7172, CU8000, CU8072 and all other variants):
1. SDR picture settings that can be used for watching movies in standard and high definition, streaming, DVDs, Blu-rays, etc. and
2. SDR picture settings for playing games where the screen needs to be responsive
3. SDR picture settings when connecting a PC (for work, browsing the web, etc.)
This document contains picture settings that I have obtained after performing complete Standard Dynamic Range (SDR) calibration on Samsung 50-inch 50CU7172 for the European market. This document's tips apply to other screen sizes for the Samsung 2023 4K UHD TV series.
All adjustments are done in the user menus (no need to enter service mode).

Settings in this document are for reference only.
There is no guarantee that they will give you the best picture which is inline with industry standards and suitable for your viewing environment, especially for greyscale accuracy. If you want guaranteed calibrated picture, hire a professional TV calibrator (for example with ISF certificate, more info at http://www.imagingscience.com).
