Chaffinch cross stitch pattern

A counted cross stitch pattern.

The sound of a chaffinch singing is one of the quintessential sounds of spring but they can be seen all year round. One often visits my garden in winter.

DESIGN DETAILS

• Stitch count: 34 x 38
• Size on 16/32 count fabric: 2.7 x 2.4 inches (7 x 6cm)
• Threads: DMC
• Technique: whole cross stitch and backstitch detail around the eye

Pattern file includes black and white symbol chart, colour symbol chart, symbol key and colour image of finished design for reference. The second file includes basic instructions and stitching tips.
