L’Automne Cowl is a really fun accessory to have and a great way to use up left over pieces of yarn. It is so easy to customise L’Automne to make it totally original and it is a great introduction to colour work. The pattern is written for two colours only, but this pattern can easily be knitted using all the different scraps you may have in your stash!
The pattern includes fully written out instructions for the colour work, but no charts.
Sizes: One size only
Circumference: 46 cm
Length: 34 cm.
Yarn: Purl Alpaca Designs Fine 116m/50g (100% alpaca) (equivalent to a sports weight yarn), 1 ball of colour A, 1 ball of colour B or various remnants equivalent to 100g in total.
Tension: 19 sts and 26 rows to 10 cm/4” square over stocking stitch using 5 mm needles.
Needles: 5 mm circular needles, 40 cm cable.
Notions: 1 stitch marker.
