Rare Doye O'Dell video and audio with instant download. Doye O'Dell was a western star of the 1940s through the 1950s. Doye recorded countless records and was featured in many western films of the 1940s as a member of the Sons of the Pioneers with Roy Rogers and others. Doye hosted his own TV variety shows in Los Angeles including Western Varieties on KTLA, which was like a local version of the Ed Sullivan show with its many acrobatic acts and musical guests. Only one known episode of Western Varieties has survived, a 45 minute Kinescope included HERE. Also, two Doye performances from Tex Ritter's Ranch Party show from the 1950s. Plus two film features with the Radio Rangers. All video clips are MP4 format, viewable with any video player on any computer. Be aware that the Western Varieties video is a rather large file and will require a good internet connection to download.
