The Chief Executive Officer's Word

This membership subscription will get you familiar with the concepts and the terminology of small business ownership and general management.

Here is where you grow your knowledge...one word at a time, one day at a time.

The CEO's Word will give you a better understanding of the issues facing small business owners and entrepreneurs. Your business game will go to a whole new level. Every day, subscribers receive an email describing a word or term or concept associated with small business and management.  Here's an example:

Accounts Receivable

The amount of money owed to a business by its customers or clients for goods or services provided on credit. Managing accounts receivable effectively is important for maintaining cash flow and minimizing the risk of bad debts. Establish clear payment terms and policies, promptly issue invoices, and follow up on overdue payments to ensure timely collections. Your bookkeeper should provide you with an AR “aging” report. Invoices over 90 days past due rarely get paid.

The daily email will define a word or term or concept in this category, as well as provide other information for context and for clarity. Subscribing to a WORD is the easiest and best way for you to get familiarity and understanding on a topic. You can subscribe to a WORD for you, for your friends and family members ... even your co-workers, your mentees, your children, your students ... ALL for $5 per month each.
