This End of Year Art Journal is a printable set of 23 student pages for elementary art classrooms. The pages combine creative reflection, goal setting, social-emotional learning and drawing prompts, so students can look back on what they learned in art class and think ahead to next year.

Students draw themselves as artists, design social media-inspired art pages, create an end of year zen doodle and write a letter of advice to next year's art students. It is a flexible, low-prep way to keep students thoughtful and creating through the last days of school, in a classroom or homeschool setting, and it can even give their future teacher a peek at who is coming into their class.

HOW TO USE IT

Print the whole set and staple it into a journal with the coloring title page on the front, or hand out individual pages during the final weeks of school. Students can take their finished journals home as a keepsake from art class, and you can keep select pages, like the letters or student profiles, to pass on to next year's teacher.

Use it to wrap up your elementary art program, encourage reflection, build a keepsake of art class memories, set goals for next year, build peer connection, review and celebrate art learning, or as sub plans and quiet end of year activities.
