Aigyrzhal culture samples 23andme format
The Aigyrzhal culture is a lesser-known Bronze age culture from Central Asia, predominantly identified with sites in the central parts of Kyrgyzstan, including the Aigyrzhal valley.
The culture's burials reveal kurgan-style tombs, characteristic of many steppe societies. Grave goods, including bronze ornaments, tools, and pottery, suggest their metallurgical knowledge and trade connections.
The Aigyrzhal people contributed to certain Andronovo groups, in particular the Dashti Kozy offshoot, and Aigyrzhal ancestry is still found in modern Tajiks and Kyrgyz.
The Aigyrzhal themselves closely resemble central asian farmers, but with significant Ancient North Eurasian shift. It is possible that they picked up this admixture from bronze age tarym inhabitants, who are geographically close to them.
For this video, I prepared 2 aigyrzhal samples, both of which are male. One carries Y lineage J2a and another carries Y lineage Q.
