Back to Being You - The Complete Breathe and Release Meditation Series
Breathe and Release Meditations
Six guided meditations to bring you back to yourself, wherever you are
Sessions are where a lot of the work happens. But what happens in between matters just as much. These meditations are something you can come back to on your own, whenever you need a moment to slow down, let go, or reconnect.
I recommend that you listen to them in order first, and then simply choose the one that fits how you feel that day on any day where you might need a calming space.

Breathe
Settling your body and calming your nervous system
When life feels too much, it starts in the body. These three meditations help you come out of your head and back into your breath, so you have somewhere steady to stand.
1. Breathe Meditation The place to begin. A simple guided practice to slow your breathing, settle your body and give your nervous system the message that it's safe to rest. Good for any time, and especially when you feel wound up or overwhelmed.
2. Breathe – Solar Plexus The solar plexus is where many of us hold tension, worry and that knot in the stomach. This meditation brings your breath and attention there, helping you feel more grounded and more yourself.
3. Breathe – Heart Breathing into the heart space, softening and opening. A gentle practice for when you've been holding yourself tightly and need to let a little kindness in, including towards yourself.
Release
Letting go of what you've been carrying
Once you feel steadier, there's room to put things down. These meditations help you notice what you've been holding on to, and let it go.
4. Release – Throat
For the words you’ve swallowed, the things left unsaid and the times you’ve kept quiet to keep the peace. This meditation helps you release what’s been held in your throat, so you can speak more freely and honestly, starting with yourself.
5. Release – Third Eye For when your mind won't stop: the overthinking, the second-guessing, the stories we tell ourselves. This practice helps clear the noise, so you can see things more clearly and trust what you know.
Being You
Coming home to who you are
6. Being You – Crown The final meditation in the series. With space cleared, this is about reconnecting with the part of you that has always been there, underneath everything else. A quiet reminder that you're not lost. You've just forgotten who you are.
How to use them
- Find somewhere comfortable where you won't be disturbed for 90 minutes (approx).
- Headphones help, but aren't essential.
- There's no right or wrong way to do this. If your mind wanders, just come back to your breath.
- Start with the Breathe Meditation if you're new to meditation, then follow the series in order or go to whichever one you need.
Slow, meditative, calming and absolutely the thing to help you slow down and take a moment.
