No shaping, no purling, this ultra simple scarf shows that you can make lovely things using only the knit stitch and flat knitting. Colors are changed using a “swing needle” style, a simple technique that takes advantage of circular needles, so each color is only worked one row at a time.
The Glacial Slide Scarf is worked flat length-wise in a modified garter stitch. Each garter row is knit twice by sliding stitches across a circular needle to work again with contrast color, before turning work to repeat with each color. Includes optional two-color fringe.
Stitches used: Knit.
