Ketron SD90 Full Kontakt NKI Pack is the complete Kontakt version of my Ketron SD90 sound library, created from multisamples taken directly from my own Ketron SD90.
This is a large and detailed collection containing the full range of instruments included in the original project, carefully sampled, edited and prepared as Kontakt NKI instruments.
🎹 HOW THIS LIBRARY WAS CREATED
The instruments were sampled individually by connecting the Ketron SD90 via MIDI to Extreme Sample Converter.
Each instrument was sampled across a wide keyboard range, using 10–12 or more samples per instrument where applicable. This provides extensive keyboard coverage and helps preserve the character and realism of the original SD90 sounds.
After sampling, the instruments were carefully edited and prepared. Depending on the instrument, this included:
- Loop creation
- Release settings
- Sample editing
- Multisample mapping
- Kontakt instrument programming
- Sample organization
- Instrument testing
The project required many hours of sampling, editing, programming, testing and preparation.

The large number of files is normal for a detailed multisample library containing individual samples and Kontakt instrument files.
🎧 KONTAKT NKI FORMAT
This version is prepared specifically for use with Native Instruments Kontakt.
The instruments are provided as NKI Kontakt instruments, with the samples already mapped and configured for playback inside Kontakt.
This allows you to load the instruments directly into Kontakt and play the sampled Ketron SD90 sounds from your MIDI keyboard or controller.

Some instruments use loops to keep the library practical in size and performance. Loop behaviour and certain sound characteristics may vary depending on the instrument and Kontakt setup.
