Pressure Washing Business Profit Tracker
Pressure Washing Business Profit Tracker Excel for your pressure washing business — service pricing per square foot, job profit, chemicals inventory, and a monthly P and L dashboard. Know what every square foot actually costs — and whether the month actually made money.
Built for pressure washing businesses, power washers, and small wash crews who need to know, service by service and job by job, whether the price covers the chemicals, the water, and the labor — without accounting software. If a job is losing money, this workbook shows it before the next quote.
WHAT'S INCLUDED (6 sheets):
- Services and Pricing — sq ft per typical job, chemical and labor cost per job, cost per sq ft, price per sq ft, and margin in dollars and percent for every service. Change a chemical cost and every job profit updates by formula.
- Jobs — date, customer, job type (Residential, Commercial, HOA, Fleet), service, sq ft, price per sq ft, revenue, cost per sq ft pulled from the pricing sheet, profit per job, and margin. Log residential, commercial, HOA, and fleet jobs in one place.
- Chemicals and Supplies — chemical or supply, unit, quantity on hand, reorder point, cost per unit, and stock value. Anything at or below its reorder point is flagged LOW STOCK so you order it before the next job.
- Monthly P and L — revenue, job cost, water and equipment, fuel and vehicle, and other expenses by month, Jan-Dec, with net profit and margin. Revenue and job cost are formulas from the Jobs sheet.
- Dashboard — total revenue, jobs, sq ft washed, average job value, gross and net profit and margin, best service by margin dollars and by margin percent, best-selling service, best job and best job type, costs by category, and low stock count.
- Cover and How to Use — start here. Yellow cells are the only ones you edit.

HOW IT WORKS:
1. Download the Excel file instantly after purchase.
2. On sheet 1, enter each service's sq ft per typical job, chemical cost per job, labor cost per job, and price per sq ft. Cost per unit and margin fill in by formula.
3. On sheet 2, log every job: date, customer, job type, service (spelled exactly as on sheet 1), quantity, and unit price. Revenue, cost per unit, and profit fill in by formula.
4. On sheet 3, keep quantities on hand current and set a reorder point for each chemical. Buy more of anything flagged LOW STOCK before the next job.
5. On sheet 4, enter water and equipment, fuel and vehicle, and other expenses each month, then check gross and net profit on the Dashboard.
HOW THE NUMBERS WORK:
Cost per sq ft is (chemical cost per job plus labor cost per job) divided by sq ft per typical job. Margin per sq ft is price per sq ft minus cost per sq ft. Margin percent is margin per sq ft divided by price per sq ft. Gross profit is revenue minus job cost; net profit is revenue minus job cost, water and equipment, fuel and vehicle, and other expenses. Chemicals are inside job cost, not in the water and equipment line. One unit is one square foot.
WHO IT'S FOR:
Pressure washing businesses, power washers, and small wash crews who want service pricing, job profit, chemicals inventory, and a monthly P and L in one workbook — without accounting software.
PLEASE NOTE:
- This is a digital download. No physical item will be shipped.
- Works in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (upload to Google Drive to open in Sheets).
- Example data for October 2026 is included (10 services, 18 jobs, 23,800 sq ft washed, 12 chemicals and supplies). Replace it with your own numbers.
- The example is simplified: water costs are combined with chemicals on the P and L, so split them out if your water bill is large. Check your local rules for chemical runoff and water use.
