The aim of this course is to introduce participants to the origins, theoretical model, and application of Mindfulness Based work in an experiential way.
This course will provide an opportunity to develop a personal practice of Mindfulness and Meditations. A central aim of Mindfulness Based work is to become more fully aware and present in each moment.
Mindfulness can make life more enjoyable, interesting, and fulfilling. The benefits of Mindfulness are supported by scientific studies: Reduces Anxiety, Improves Mood, Improves Sleep, Lowers Stress, Improves Health, Boosts Concentration, Enhances Creativity, Reduces Fatigue, Helps manage Chronic Pain & Helps prevent Depression.
In my early 30's I studied an Introduction to Mindfulness at university as part of my CBT course. I didn't realise the impact Mindfulness would have on my life. Letting go of thoughts and being more present in the moment. I had my first experience of oneness energy with the body scan and never looked back.
Mindfulness has been key in my life for more peace within and not letting outside influences control my thoughts. It's tools for life! My aim is to provide you with the tools for more peace and to learn to let go of negative thoughts just like my mindfulness journey. Repetition is key! To mastering your mind.
