As most of you know, my fiber protein shakes have played a HUGE role in my success of losing almost 60lbs! And the reason for that is the secret ingredient - BEANS! Beans are full of both fiber and protein which are incredible at keeping you full when you are trying to lose weight! I don't know about you, but I found it difficult to get enough beans in my diet and considering they are a top BLUE ZONES food, I am super excited to have created these shakes because they are hands down the easiest way of getting them in - EVERY DAY! I used these shakes almost every single day to lose the first 30lbs and I have recently used them again daily to break out of a plateau that I have been stuck in and it worked like a charm!
Some of you may feel a bit skeptical about adding beans to a shake, but I promise you that you can't taste them AT ALL, like seriously, at all lol. If you are following a low fat diet then these shakes are an amazing addition to your diet because the creaminess from the beans will trick you in to thinking that you are enjoying something that is rich in fat. Often I crave these shakes when I am feeling for something delicious like ice cream or a milkshake!
And lastly, please don't mistake these shakes for a green smoothie or a fruit smoothie! Not even close! They are a starchy smoothie that is specifically designed to keep you full for HOURS. Again, another superpower of beans - they keep you full for a really long time which is EVERYTHING when you are on a weight loss journey!
