This is a pattern for a cropped jumper worked from the bottom up and with a dropped sleeve. The entire piece is worked in the round with steeks. The sleeves are worked from the top down to cuff.

Gauge is fairly important for this project, since there is motif patterning over nearly the entire garment. Please, swatch and block (before beginning project). Though this garment is not fitted and there is some room for gauge difference and blocking to measurements should adjust for this.

Stitches are cast on for bottom edge of the body. The rib is worked before working the Bottom Edge and then Owl motif chart. Steeks are cast on for the armholes and front neck. Once the body is finished, the steeks are reinforced before cutting. Duplicate Stitch and simple embroidery may be used to embellish your owl and leaves.
