DESCRIPTION

The Sweet Lace is a top down sweater, worked in the round with a stockinette stitch for the body and drama at the sleeves!

The sleeves are worked in a simple lace stitch pattern with some gathering added at the top of shoulder. The gathering will give the sleeves a slight puff shape and the all over lace stitch gives the sweater a very pretty and flattering look.

The design starts at the top, starting at the neck trim. Short rows and raglan armhole shapings are worked in the round until you split at the underarm. Once the sleeve stitches are placed on hold, the body is worked in the round until you bind off at the hem trim. The sleeve stitches are then picked up and the lace stitch pattern continues in the round until you bind off at the cuff trim. You have the option of lengthening or shortening the body and the sleeves as you wish.
