Bauhaus was a school that believed a circle, a square and a triangle were enough to build a visual language from. This set takes that seriously: primary red, blue and yellow, true black, hard edges, everything sitting on one grid.

What's in the set

The primer — a circle, a square and a triangle, one colour each. Four quarter-arcs turning around a cross. Stacked bars with a single disc punched through. Off-centre rings cut by a solid band. One diagonal splitting the field. Nine cells, five of them filled.

No text on any print. Nothing to date it, nothing to translate, nothing that stops working when the room changes.

What you get

Six separate PNG files at 300 DPI, 2400 × 3000 px, plus one combined PDF with all six sized to US Letter — hand that to a print shop, or print a single PNG at home.

Sizing

The ratio is 4:5, so "scale to fit" crops nothing at 4×5, 8×10, 11×14 or 16×20. A-sizes work the same way — choose "fit to page".

Printing

Flat colour of this kind looks best on matte or a heavier uncoated stock. These are big areas of solid ink, so a decent printer or a print shop will pay off more than it would on a line drawing.
