With seductive cruelty, she toys with the tiny inhabitants, mocking their fragile defenses and savoring the sound of buildings collapsing beneath her weight. 

She compares the castle to a modern city she enjoys destroying slowly, 

noting how easily everything crumbles. Despite her methodical destruction—squashing buildings, tearing structures apart, 

and pressing her soles down mercilessly—the zombies remain hidden, 

driving Ada to vow she will bury them forever and leave no stone standing.
